Francisco Javier Rodríguez Jiménez

Francisco J. Rodríguez is Research Professor at University of Salamanca; formerly, was postdoctoral researcher at Weatherhead Cente for Internatinal Affairs, Harvard University (2012-2013) and Fulbright Visiting Scholar at George Washington University, 2010-2012. His areas of concentration are: Public / Cultural diplomacy, comparative approach: United States, China; and Spain-United States cultural, educational & intellectual relations; likewise, the analysis of Anti-Americanism. He has published the books II República, reforma agraria y represión, Sevilla (2013, with Sergio Riesco and Manuel Pintor) ¿Antítodo contra el antiamericanismo? Valencia, 2010 and ¿Armas de Convicción Masiva? Salamanca, 2010, e-Books. He is currently preparing the monographs, Selling Democracy? U.S. Public Diplomacy and Democratization in Spain (Palgrave Macmillan. Expected January 2015)- Co-edited with Nicholas Cull and Lorenzo Delgado; and Estrategias de Diplomacia cultural en un mundo interpolar (Madrid, 2014), co-edited with Elisa Gavari (in press)
